About Tingen Law
Built to serve immigrants and their families
Tingen Law was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves honest, experienced legal help at a fair price. We work exclusively in immigration — so every attorney, every process, every decision is built around one thing: protecting your future in the United States.
Our Mission
Immigration law is one of the most consequential areas of legal practice. A single missed deadline or filing error can have life-altering consequences. We hold ourselves to the highest standard of care — because the stakes are that high for our clients.
Whether you are navigating a family petition, an employment-based visa, or a removal hearing, our team is here to advocate for you at every step.

Frequently asked questions
Can't find the answer you're looking for? Reach out to our immigration team and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
We recommend everyone undergoing immigration processes consider hiring a lawyer, particularly those with complex issues such as past visa denials or criminal history, and first-time applicants. Legal representation becomes especially valuable when complications arise or when you face removal proceedings.
Bring documents related to your immigration situation including passports, visas, I-94 records, Notices to Appear (NTAs), documents from ICE, notices from USCIS, and vital records. If applicable, also bring marriage certificates, birth certificates, criminal records, or employment documents. If you had prior representation, you will need a file release from your previous attorney.
Processing duration varies depending on the type of application or petition, your individual circumstances, and current USCIS processing times. Some cases take months while others require years. We encourage checking uscis.gov for current processing timelines and want you to know that delays outside our control do occur.
Tingen Law primarily offers flat fees with a minimum engagement amount of $1,500. Costs typically range from $1,500 to over $10,000 depending on case complexity. We are not a budget law firm, but we are committed to providing superior client experiences and transparent pricing.
We have handled thousands of immigration matters, as well as hundreds of family law, business law, criminal defense, and intellectual property cases. We specialize in immigration and its intersections with other practice areas, including immigration-related family law, business formation for immigrants, and international IP law.
Our standard operating hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on every weekday. We also offer appointments until 8 p.m. on Wednesday evenings for clients who are unable to meet during regular business hours without taking time off work.

The attorney you hire will be the attorney who works on your case. Support staff assist with general tasks and client communication, but your assigned attorney handles your legal representation.
